Delighted with the way everyone responded to the prompts this week, we had some really interesting themes playing around, and it’s always fascinating to see how different people interpret them. Thank you all as usual for taking part, see you again next week!
A Canvas, Darkly by Sam E.A.B. Russell
A few people experimented this week with the idea of people having things stolen from them – something intagible rather than a possession, and this is dealt with brilliantly in Sam’s piece A Canvas, Darkly. In this offbeat magical realist piece Sam covers obsession, paranoia, and the power of art. It’s a really interesting little story and I’d love to know more about this poor narrator and where he’s heading.
Please take a moment to read A Canvas, Darkly and leave Sam some feedback.
